Years passed and he had become one of the best officers on the force, inevitably becoming Chief of Police.

Scientists had looked into the DNA of demihumans to learn what originally created them (the mythology was strange, as it was word-of-mouth rather than written initially. Some sources claim demihumans are the product of women being impregnated by creates, some claim wizards or gods, and others claim evolution), so they took human and Gryphon DNA to combine. After five attempts, Asher was the only embryo to survive more than a day. He was raised in a lab until he was twelve, when it was deemed inhumane and he was adopted and given proper education.

She had dropped out of high school, not bothering with the "bullshit" of it once she learned what she needed and joined The Grim Hunters, which was originally run by a reanimated skeleton who called himself Grim for painfully obvious reasons. He liked the Grim Reaper aesthetic, and that was how his gang came to be. Lorena dated Grim long enough to get high status before turning him in to the government, watching him be executed, and then taking the gang for her own.

While acceptance exists in Moonlight City, for the most part human and supe relationships are seen as strange so his family always felt a little bit like oddballs in public. His younger sister is more human than orc, only showcasing their semi-strange genetics (she is naturally stronger and taller than most human women, though). Once he grew up, Mortak began to work at a bank for the benefits more than the enjoyment of it - and while he's pretty...Dumb, Mortak is good at following instructions, so he does well!
